Christina Applegate

Hollywood, Californië 25 november 1971) is een Amerikaanse actrice. Ze is het meest bekend door haar rol als kelly Bundy in de serie Married… with Children.
Ze is de dochter van Robert W. Applegate en Nancy Lee Priddy, een zangeres en actrice. Ze begon te acteren in series toen ze pas drie maanden oud was, in Days of Our Lives met haar moeder. Twee maanden later zat ze in een reclame. Vanaf dat ze negen jaar was, was ze te zien in films zoals Jaws of Satan en Beatlemania.
Op 20 oktober 2001 trouwde ze met Johnathon Schaech. Op 5 december 2005 werd er bevestigd dat ze een scheiding hadden aangevraagd. Op 10 augustus 2007 waren ze uiteindelijk officieel gescheiden. Ze is goede vrienden met Cameron Diaz, Nicole Eggert, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, Robin Antin, Tori Spelling, Leah Remini, Lance Bass, Matt LeBlanc en Jessica Simpson.
Ze heeft een prime-time Emmy Award gewonnen, twee van de vier Youth in Film Awards waarvoor ze was genomineerd in 1980-1990. Ze is ook genomineerd voor een Tony Award.
