Leuk dat je er bent! WikiKids is een Nederlandse online kinderencyclopedie. We richten ons op kinderen van 8 tot 15 jaar, maar als je jonger, ouder of volwassen bent dan ben je hier ook van harte welkom. Dit bericht staat op je overlegpagina. Via deze pagina kunnen andere gebruikers van WikiKids contact met je zoeken om vragen aan je te stellen of om je tips te geven over een artikel dat je hebt gemaakt. Gebruikersnaam a.u.b. veranderen - Please change your user name

Kun je s.v.p. je gebruikersnaam veranderen naar eentje met Latijnse letters in plaats van Cyrillische letters. Ik begrijp dat het Russisch in het Cyrillisch schrift wordt geschreven, maar voor ons is het (vaak) onmogelijk om dit schrift te lezen of te schrijven. Dit levert problemen op wanneer een andere gebruiker je wilt opzoeken, aangezien de meeste Nederlandstalige gebruikers geen Cyrillisch schrift op hun computer hebben. Het kan ook verwarring onder gebruikers en moderatoren opleveren. Daarom hebben we besloten dat gebruikersnamen altijd in het Latijnse schrift geschreven moeten worden. Je kunt een nieuwe gebruikersnaam maken met Latijnse letters. Mijn excuses voor de eerdere verwarring hierover.
Onthoudt wel dat dit een Nederlandstalige encyclopedie is. Ik weet niet of je de Nederlandse taal beheerst, maar zonder beheersing van het Nederlands wordt bijdragen erg lastig. Vertalingen van sites als Google Translate zijn vaak incorrect en bevatten fouten. Het is misschien beter om bij te dragen aan de Russische Vikidia (een vergelijkbaar concept als WikiKids, maar in het Russisch). Toch is dit aan jou om te bepalen. Ik hope dat je hiermee geïnformeerd heb.
Hi Vladimir,
Could you please change your user name to one with Latin characters instead of Cyrillic ones.. I understand that Russian is written in the Cyrillic script, but for us it (often) quite impossible to read or write your name. This causes difficulties in the case an user wants to look up your name, since most Dutch-speaking people do not have a Cyrillic alphabet on their laptops. This could also cause confusion amongst users and administrators. Therefore, we decided user names need to be in the Latin script. You can make a new account with Latin letters. My apologies for the initial confusion.
Please notice that this is a Dutch encyclopedia. I do not know whether you are well-known with the Dutch language, but without understanding Dutch contributing there are very few things you can do. Translations from sites like Google Translate are often incorrect and include mistakes. It might therefore be better to contribute to the Russian Vikidia (a similiar concept as WikiKids but in Russian). Still, this for you to decide. I hope I have informed you. Kind regards,

Hi, i had spoken with a moderator (Rots61) on Discord and he said that he could change my username to "Vladimir". I do not want to make a new account though, and i dont want to go on Vikidia because they have less articles and they are inactive. And yes i am well known with the Dutch language on a moderate level. Ive spend lots of time with it because some of my family lives here, anyway going back to the point. Could you change my username into Vladimir? Thank you bro. And also, ive seen you guys discuss about me so if you have any questions feel free to ask me.

- Yes, I have changed your user name to Vladimir and unblocked your account (which means you can contribute again). Again our excuses for discussing about behind your back. There was some confusion about user names in non-Latin signs, since the rule was formulated a bit weird and it somehow ended up in a conversation about Russian minorities for some reason (which btw is not relevant in the first place). Its okay about discussing about me behind my back. I dont really care i just wanted to mention it. Btw im not a russian in/from Ukraine, im a Russian (with a half Crimean Tatar half russian father and Turkish mother ) in Turkey. I hope this clears any confusions you may have about me .
