Het seizoen 2007/08 was het 52ste seizoen van de Nederlandse Eredivisie. Hierin werd gespeeld om het 119e landskampioenschap voetbal. De eerste wedstrijd van het seizoen werd op 17 augustus 2007 gespeeld en de laatste wedstrijden werden op 20 april 2008 gespeeld.

Voor het vierde jaar op rij werd PSV kampioen, het was de tweede keer dat de club dit lukte in de Eredivisie en tevens waren ze ook de eerste club die voor het eerst vier keer achter elkaar kampioen werd van de Eredivisie. Aan het einde van het seizoen degradeerden Excelsior en VVV-Venlo naar de Eerste divisie.

Dit seizoen was De Graafschap de nieuwe club in de Eredivisie, nadat ze in het vorige seizoen van de Eerste divisie kampioen waren geworden. Via de play-offs was VVV-Venlo ten koste van RKC Waalwijk gepromoveerd. ADO Den Haag degradeerde vorig seizoen rechtstreeks uit de Eredivisie.
